Residential Electrical Ecosystem (REE)
With the focus of California shifting from energy savings to greenhouse gas emissions, HomeTeam Energy Services has opened the Residential Electrical Ecosystem as a demonstration house where San Francisco Bay Area residents can see, learn about, and operate new electrical appliance technology that will be critical when transitioning from residential gas appliances and helping to save our atmosphere by reducing GHG.
Visitors to the REE will be able to see the following new electrical appliances in operation:
1. Solar PV Array
2. Electric Vehicle and Charging System
3. Heat Pump Furnace and Air Conditioner
4. Heat Pump Water Heater
5. Heat Pump Clothes Dryer
6. Induction Cooktop
7. Produce Preserving Refrigerator
Two-hour educational tours that will include new technology theory, operational, and purchasing information will be available by reservation from Tuesday through Friday 9am-5pm.
Pricing for the educational tours will be:
Individual: $150
2 people: $200
4 people: $300
6 people: $400
Larger groups may be able to be accommodated. Because this is an ADU (500 sq. ft), effectiveness of the learning group may be compromised with a larger group.
